[origin: EP0489416A2] What is described is a mine (10), especially a land mine, having an active body (14) which can be brought by means of a starting drive (28) out of a starting device (12) to its operating height and which can be set in rotation about its vertical axis. To make it possible with such a mine (10) to combat targets, especially armoured vehicles (42), accurately within a relatively large target zone, the active body (14) has a second drive (34) which is provided for accelerating the active body (14) in a spacial direction different from its vertical axis and simultaneously for generating a rotation of the active body (14) about its vertical axis on which a precession movement is superposed. <IMAGE>
