[origin: EP0489664A1] A safety harness 10 comprises a pair of thigh straps 12, 14 forming closed loops and a belt 16 with a central attachment member 18. The size of each thigh strap 12, 14 may be adjusted by means of a retaining buckle 46 fixed to the belt 16 by a connecting strap 48, 50 and an adjusting strap 52 joined at its end 56 to the loop.
