Abstract (en)
In order that the imprint (7) of the label remains as free from distortions as possible in heat-sealing, it is envisaged that printing is carried out on a base film (1) of comparatively low-melting plastic, and that the base film is bonded on its printed side to a high-melting transparent cover film (2) by the thermomelting process. The label is suitable in particular for marking textiles with a machine-readable bar code.

Um zu erreichen, daß der Aufdruck (7) des Etiketts bei der Heißversiegelung möglichst frei von Verzerrungen bleibt, ist vorgesehen, daß eine Grundfolie (1) aus vergleichsweise niedrig schmelzendem Kunststoff bedruckt wird, und daß die Grundfolie an ihrer bedruckten Seite im Thermoschmelzverfahren mit einer hochschmelzenden transparenten Deckfolie (2) verbunden wird. Das Etikett eignet sich insbesondere zur Kennzeichnung von Textilien mit einem maschinenlesbaren Strichcode.
