Abstract (en)

A tobacco product for producing a home-made cigarette, in particular a filter cigarette, consists of a tobacco portion (14) which is adapted to the tobacco filling of a finished cigarette and whose cylindrical surface is air-permeable, so that it is not smokable as such, the tobacco portion (14) including the cylindrical surface consisting of a material which is completely smokable or consumable by smoking, the tobacco portion (14) being dimensionally stable and adapted in its cross-section and length to the tobacco-receiving space (13) of a cigarette paper wrapper (11), so that the cylindrical surface, while retaining the given shape of the tobacco portion, lies sufficiently tight for smoking against the cigarette paper within the cigarette paper wrapper. The cigarette portion (14) is arranged, as a prefabricated product, within an outer strand wrapper (15), each open at the ends, of non-smokable and especially also poorly combustible or non-combustible material, in such a way that it can be transferred from the strand wrapper (15) into the cigarette paper wrapper (11). <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Tabakerzeugnis für die Selbstverfertigung einer Zigarette, insbesondere Filter-Zigarette, bestehend aus einer der Tabakfüllung einer fertigen Zigarette angepaßten Tabakportion (14), deren Mantelfläche luftdurchlässig ist, so daß sie als solche nicht rauchbar ist, wobei die Tabakportion (14) samt Mantelfläche aus vollständig rauchbarem bzw. durch Rauchen konsumierbarem Material besteht, und wobei die Tabakportion (14) formstabil und in Querschnitt und Länge an den Tabakaufnahmeraum (13) einer Zigarettenpapierhülse (11) angepaßt ist, so daß die Mantelfläche unter Beibehaltung der vorgegebenen Form der Tabakportion innerhalb der Zigarettenpapierhülse an dem Zigarettenpapier zum Abrauchen ausreichend dicht anliegt. Die Zigarettenportion (14) ist als Vorfabrikat innerhalb einer äußeren, stirnseitig jeweils offenen Stranghülle (15) aus nicht rauchbarem, insbesondere auch schlecht oder nicht brennbarem Material, angeordnet, und zwar derart, daß sie aus der Stranghülle (15) in die Zigarettenpapierhülse (11) übertragbar ist. <IMAGE>
