Abstract (en)

In a device for the image-inscription and erasure of a printing plate coated with ferroelectric material by polarisation or depolarisation, an electron beam from an electron gun is aimed directly in vacuo at the printing plate in order to polarise it at specified points. The electron gun can be driven by means of an information transfer unit. There is an erasure device for depolarising or repolarising the printing plate. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Bei einer Vorrichtung zum bildmäßigen Beschreiben und Löschen durch Polarisation bzw. Depolarisation einer mit ferroelektrischem Material beschichteten Druckform ist ein in Vakuum geführter Elektronenstrahl einer Elektronenstrahlkanone unmittelbar auf die Druckform gerichtet, um vorgegebene Stellen der Druckform zu polarisieren. Die Elektronenstrahlkanone ist mittels einer Informationsübertragungseinheit ansteuerbar. Zur Depolarisation bzw. Umpolarisation ist der Druckform eine Löschvorrichtung zugeordnet. <IMAGE>
