[origin: JPH04272856A] PURPOSE: To position register pins individually to the plate cylinder of a rotary press by an arrangement wherein the register pin has a register part and a fixed part arranged to be friction coupled with a holder coupled with a fitting bar. CONSTITUTION: Holders 12, 12 are arranged such that the opposite protrusions 17, 22 are spaced apart by an interval (a). A reverse T-shaped register pin 11 has a fixed part 24 and a register part 26. Since headless screws 34, 36 are turned clockwise in order to secure the register pin 11 at a desired position, the screws are supported on the bottom 18 of a fitting bar 3 and the fixed part 24 of the register pin 11 is press fitted to the lower surface of the protrusions 17, 22. The register pin 11 is friction coupled with the holders 12, 13 by that means and held at a desired position.
