Abstract (en)
A method of tank emptying and a tank (1) for this are described, by means of which it is possible to empty the tank contents by a pneumatically actuated discharge piston (2) even in the case of long tanks. For accident-prevention reasons, the pressure volume in such installations is restricted by the regulations of the employers' liability insurance association. To enable even longer tanks to be emptied, the method is in each case carried out gradually only by the permitted length, and the further piston (3) locked in its follow-up position and lying behind the discharge piston (2) then regularly serves as a rear wall of the pressure space of the discharge piston (2). The space under pressure therefore never becomes larger than in accordance with the requirements for accident prevention. <IMAGE>

Es wird ein Verfahren der Kesselentleerung und ein Kessel (1) hierfür beschrieben, mit deren Hilfe es möglich ist, auch bei langen Kesseln den Kesselinhalt durch einen pneumatisch betätigten Ausschubkolben (2) zu entleeren. Durch Vorschriften der Berufsgenossenschaft ist bei solchen Anlagen aus Unfallschutzgründen das Druckvolumen beschränkt. Zur Ermöglichung des Ausschiebens auch langer Kessel wird das Verfahren schrittweise nur jeweils um die zugelassene Länge durchgeführt und als Rückwand des Druckraums des Ausschubkolbens (2) dient dann regelmäßig der in seiner Nachfahrstellung arretierte dahinter liegende weitere Kolben (3). Der unter Druck stehende Raum wird deshalb nie größer als den Anforderungen zur Unfallverhütung entsprechend. <IMAGE>
