[origin: WO9200814A1] A container (1) is suspended from a framework (24) wherein two parallel arms (23) pivot on the side faces of a vertical member (11). Two springs (28, 29) acting on different points on the support (10, 11) and the framework (24) urge said framework into different positions according to the weight of the container (1), and therefore according to the amount of liquid therein. Said positions vary in such a way as to ensure that the level of the liquid in the container (1) remains constantly at a predetermined height which corresponds to a point located slightly behind the tip of the needle (7) when the applicator (5) is placed in its holder (14). The device is suitable for cyanoacrylate-type adhesives and for dispensing volatile or aggressive liquids.
