A dentist's chair is proposed in which the hitherto cumbersome adjustment of a set chair position when changing the position for treatment, especially when the patient or the person carrying out the treatment changes, can be dispensed with. To this end, means are provided which allow a "mouth point" previously adjusted to suit the patient and the person carrying out the treatment to be retained or, as the case may be, changed as a function of the height of the patient or of the person carrying out the treatment when there is, inter alia, a change in the inclined position of the backrest and/or head support. <IMAGE>

Es wird ein Patientenstuhl vorgestellt, bei dem das bisher umständliche Korrigieren einer eingestellten Stuhlposition bei einer Änderung der Behandlungsposition, insbesondere auch bei einem Wechsel des Patienten oder Behandlers, entbehrlich wird. Hierzu sind Mittel vorgesehen, die es ermöglichen, daß ein zuvor auf Patient und Behandler ausgerichteter "Mundpunkt" unter anderem bei einer Änderung der Neigungslage der Rückenlehne und/oder Kopfauflage erhalten bleibt bzw. in Abhängigkeit von der Körpergröße des Patienten oder Behandlers geändert werden kann. <IMAGE>
