[origin: EP0491112A1] An impression cylinder for a printing machine with arrangements for oil conditioning and lubricating, wherein the receiving shaft (2) of a flexible cylinder shell (13) is of hollow (4) construction and has at its ends an inlet and an outlet for a cooling liquid. Furthermore, the receiving shaft penetrates a chamber (8, 20) which forms an oil supply container, the supply container receiving the flexible cylinder shell (13) in a rotatable manner with interposition of ball bearings (16, 17, 18, 19), and said supply container (20) having openings (22-31) on its underside for draining the oil and feed openings (32-36) on its upper side which cooperate with scraper plates (37-41) which extend in the radial direction into the immediate vicinity of the inside circumference (42) of the flexible cylinder shell. <IMAGE>
