For an orbital sander (1) with a housing (17) provided with a handle (19) and a motor (21), fitted in the said housing, for driving a sanding plate (3) which is movably coupled to the housing (17) via at least one elastic connecting part (13, 15) and which, to transmit the orbital movement of the motor (21) to the sanding plate (3), carries a bearing location ring (27) as well as a clamping device (7) for abrasive paper (5), the object of reducing the manufacturing costs while improving the product quality is achieved in that at least one connecting part (13, 15) is integrally formed and fastened to the sanding plate (3) by a cast bond. <IMAGE>

Für einen Schwingschleifer (1) mit einem mit Griff (19) versehenen Gehäuse (17) und einem darin eingebauten Motor (21) zum Antrieb einer Schleifplatte (3), die über mindestens ein elastisches Verbindungsteil (13, 15) bewegbar mit dem Gehäuse (17) gekoppelt ist und die zur Übertragung der Schwingbewegung des Motors (21) auf die Schleifplatte (3) einen Lageraufnahmering (27) sowie eine Klemmvorrichtung (7) für Schleifpapier (5) trägt, wird die Aufgabe, die Herstellungskosten bei besserer Produktqualität zu senken dadurch gelöst, daß mindestens ein Verbindungsteil (13, 15) an der Schleifplatte (3) durch Gußverbund angeformt und befestigt ist. <IMAGE>
