The invention relates to a device for applying a pasty product, particularly for dispensing lipstick. This device comprises a tubular element (3) with slides (4, 5), in which a cup piece (9) which carries the stick (2) can slide. A cylindrical casing (12) is slipped over the tubular element (3) and carries, on the inside, helical grooves (13, 14). The studs (10, 11) of the cup piece (9) traverse the tubular element (3) via the slides (4, 5) of the latter and engage in the helical grooves (13, 14). The cylindrical casing (12) is blocked between a lower stop (21) and an upper stop (19) which are carried by the tubular element (3). The invention consists in having provided a means (101, 102) for taking up play and braking this mechanism and in having interposed it between the tubular element (3) and the assembly E formed by the casing (12) and its outer sleeve (15). <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour appliquer un produit pâteux, notamment pour la distribution de rouge à lèvres. Ce dispositif comporte un élément tubulaire (3) à glissières (4,5), dans lequel peut coulisser une cupule (9) qui porte le bâton (2). Une enveloppe cylindrique (12) est emmanchée sur l'élément tubulaire (3) et porte intérieurement des rainures hélicoïdales (13,14). Les ergots (10,11) de la cupule (9) traversent l'élément tubulaire (3) par les glissières (4,5) de celui-ci et s'engagent dans les rainures hélicoïdales (13,14). L'enveloppe cylindrique (12) est bloquée entre une butée inférieure (21) et une butée supérieure (19) portées par l'élément tubulaire (3). L'invention consiste à avoir prévu un moyen de rattrapage de jeu et de freinage (101,102) de ce mécanisme et à l'avoir interposé entre l'élément tubulaire (3) et l'ensemble E constitué par l'enveloppe (12) et sa chemise extérieure (15). <IMAGE>
