[origin: EP0491633A1] The cutter (17) of a paper-trimmer is carried by a movable part (14) capable of being moved relative to the tray (11) for supporting the sheets (25). The cutter (17) has a curved end (26) permitting the cutting out of a sheet strip of a length which is less than that of the sheet in order to create a projecting index tab consisting of the non-cut-out remaining part of the edge of the sheet. <IMAGE>
