[origin: DE3930584A1] The novel electro-photographically produced offset printing plate comprises an electrically conductive dimensionally stable substrate (A), at least one photoconductive layer (B) and a printing surface (C) composed of hydrophilic, water-bearing, unprinted tonered areas (c1) and oleophilic, colour-bearing printing untonered areas (c2). The novel offset printing plate can be made by the prior art manner making use of hydrophilic toner or toner which can be easily hydrophilised chemically by conversion with suitable reagents, thermo-chemically by heating and/or photo or radio-chemically by irradiation with electromagnetic or particle radiation.

Une nouvelle plaque d'impression offset produite par voie électrophotographique comprend un support électroconducteur indéformable (A), au moins une couche photoconductrice (B) et une surface d'impression (C) composée de régions hydrophiles (c1) non imprimantes qui transportent de l'eau et des régions oléophiles (c2) imprimantes, non colorées par du toner et qui transportent des couleurs. La nouvelle plaque d'impression offset peut être produite de manière connue en soi par voie électrophotographique; on utilise à cet effet des toners hydrophiles ou non aisément hydrophilisables par voie chimique, lorsque l'on les mélange avec des réactifs appropriés, par voie thermochimique, lorsque l'on les chauffe et/ou par voie photochimique ou radiochimique, lorsque l'on les soumet à une irradiation par des rayonnements électromagnétiques ou de particules.
