Afin de pouvoir monter des tables de différents types et dimensions avec un nombre aussi réduit que possible d'éléments individuels, une table ayant un plateau (2) posé dans un cadre (1) comprend un cadre (1) composé de cornières (6) qui forment chacune un coin de cadre et de longerons (7) qui relient chacune deux cornières (6). Chaque cornière est associée à un pied (3) amovible de la table.
