[origin: WO9104414A1] The invention concerns a radial piston pump with a multiplicity of radially disposed cylinder/pump assemblies with foot and head valves, the pistons being controlled by a cam plate which rotates eccentrically with respect to a housing holding the cylinders. In order to produce a simple design for a pump of this kind and to permit digital pump-throughput control, the invention calls for the space between the ends (12) of the cylinders (9) and their associated pistons (7) to be connected to a pressure line (19) via a valve (21, 22) which can be controlled at will, the pump pistons (7) preferably having different diameters.

Pompe à pistons radiaux comportant un grand nombre de dispositifs à pistons placés dans le sens radial, avec des soupapes d'admission et de refoulement, et dont les pistons sont commandés par un disque d'excentrique qui décrit un mouvement de rotation excentrique par rapport à un carter contenant les cylindres. Pour que cette pompe à pistons radiaux réponde à un critère de simplicité de construction et pour assurer une commande numérique de la pompe en vue de la régulation du refoulement, il est prévu que l'espace séparant les faces frontales (12) des cylindres (9) et les pistons (7) correspondants soit relié à une conduite de refoulement (19) de la pompe au moyen d'une vanne à commande volontaire (21, 22) et que les pistons (7) des pompes présentent, de préférence, des diamètres différents.
