[origin: FR2650009A1] The invention relates to an installation for allowing and preventing access, comprising a container 1 housed in the ground, and a post 21 which can be moved between a position in which it is extended out of the container and a position in which it is retracted in the container, using drive means. According to the invention, the drive means comprise an electric motor housed in a casing 3 and an actuation device provided with a translationally fixed part housed in a casing 4 supported by the casing of the motor, and with a part which can be moved from a position in which it is retracted in the casing; the casings 3, 4 are enclosed in a shell 5; the upper part of the shell and the moving part of the actuation device are enclosed in a cover 2; the cover 2, whose upper part constitutes the post 21, is fixed to the moving part of the actuation device, and can thus be moved from the extended position to the retracted position. <IMAGE>
