The device for displaying time over a specific cycle according to the invention employs means (12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17) permitting, at any time of the day, visualisation and reading of the time that has elapsed and the time remaining available on a defined time slot corresponding to an entire fraction of the cycle. A 24-hour cycle, that is to say one day, is advantageously divided into four time slots of six hours each. The slots, embodied by sectors (13, 14) making up the disc (12), follow each other in succession twice in the course of one day and the boundary (15) between these two slots permits reading of the present time. <IMAGE>

Le dispositif d'affichage du temps au cours d'un cycle déterminé selon l'invention met en oeuvre des moyens (12,13,14,15,16,17) permettant à tout moment de la journée de visualiser et de lire le temps écoulé et le temps restant à disposition sur une plage horaire définie correspondant à une fraction entière du cycle. Un cycle de 24 heures, c'est-à-dire une journée, est avantageusement découpé en quatre plages horaires de six heures chacune. Les plages matérialisées par des secteurs (13, 14) composant le disque (12) se succèdent deux fois au cours d'une journée et la frontière (15) entre ces deux plages permet la lecture du temps présent. <IMAGE>
