In a gas cock (1) with a cock housing (2) and with a cock tap (3) which is rotatable in the housing via control cams (7, 8) at the free end (4') of a handle shaft (4), the handle shaft (4) being displaceable in its axial direction against the force of a spring to assume given control positions, a solution is to be provided, with which not only the rotation limitation is simplified, but with which, in particular, the takeover of other functions, such as the triggering of the ignition mechanism or the like, by a single additional component is also possible, this component being simple to manufacture and economical. This is achieved in that an essentially disc-shaped multifunction part (10) provided with control surfaces (10a, 10b) is provided in the region of the control cams (7, 8) of the handle shaft (4). <IMAGE>

Bei einem Gashahn (1) mit einem Hahngehäuse (2) und mit einem im Gehäuse über Schaltnocken (7,8) am freien Ende (4') eines Griffschaftes (4) verdrehbaren Hahnküken (3), wobei der Griffschaft (4) gegen die Kraft einer Feder in seiner axialen Richtung zur Einnahme bestimmter Schaltpositionen verschiebbar ist, soll eine Lösung geschaffen werden, mit der nicht nur die Drehbegrenzung vereinfacht wird, mit der insbesondere auch die Übernahme weiterer Funktionen, wie der Auslösung des Zündmechanismusses od. dgl., von einem einzigen, einfach herzustellenden und preiswerten zusätzlichen Bauteil übernommen werden kann. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß im Bereich der Schaltnocken (7,8) des Griffschaftes (4) ein mit Steuerungsflächen (10a,10b) versehenes, im wesentlichen scheibenförmiges Mehrfunktionsteil (10) vorgesehen ist. <IMAGE>
