The invention relates to a hair dryer 1 having a housing 3 for holding the electrically driven units, especially the heater 16 and the electric motor 18, which can be brought into the operational position by means of a slide switch 25. An electrically conductive switching part 27 can be operated directly by the slide switch 25 and hence produce the power supply between a unit which can be operated electrically and a voltage source. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Haarpflegegerät 1 mit einem Gehäuse 3 zur Aufnahme der elektrisch betreibbaren Aggregate, insbesondere der Heizung 16 und des Elektromotors 18, die mittels eines Schaltschiebers 25 in Betriebsstellung bringbar sind. Ein elektrisch leitendes Schaltteil 27 kann unmittelbar durch den Schaltschieber 25 betätigt werden und dadurch die Stromversorgung zwischen einem elektrisch betreibbaren Aggregat und einer Spannungsquelle herstellen. <IMAGE>
