Abstract (en)

The invention relates to the removal of surface coating agent from workpieces by embrittling the layer of surface coating agent by means of a medium having a very low temperature. The embrittled layer of surface coating agent is usually subsequently treated mechanically in order to remove the surface coating agent completely from the surface coating agent carrier. This can result in damage and abrasion of material from the surface coating agent carrier. In order to remove the surface coating agent without a large degree of technical complexity and in a manner which spares the surface coating agent carrier and is environmentally friendly, the workpieces are treated with high pressure water jets during or after cooling with the medium having a very low temperature.

Das Verfahren betrifft die Entlackung von Werkstücken durch Verspröden der Lackschicht mittels eines tiefkalten Mediums. Die versprödete Lackschicht wird meist mechanisch nachbearbeitet, um den Lack vollständig vom Lackträger zu entfernen. Beschädigung und Materialabtrag beim Lackträger können dabei die Folge sein. Um den Lack ohne großen technischen Aufwand, für den Lackträger schonend und auf umweltfreundliche Art zu entfernen, werden die Werkstücke während oder nach der Abkühlung mit dem tiefkalten Medium mit Hochdruck-Wasserstrahlen behandelt.
