The object of the invention is an acetylene-containing multi-component fuel gas mixture which can be safely handled as a liquefied gas and has properties as similar to those of acetylene as possible. According to the invention, this is a mixture which, at least when stored, contains in the liquid phase 22 to 32 mol% of acetylene, 1 to 4 mol% of a C3 hydrocarbon, 10 to 20 mol% of ethane and ethylene as the remainder, that is to say about 67 to 44 mol% of ethylene. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung zielt auf eine als Flüssiggas sicher handhabbare, acetylenhaltige Mehrkomponenten-Brenngasmischung mit möglichst weit in Richtung Acetylen gehenden Eigenschaften ab. Erfindungsgemäß besteht diese in einer Mischung, die in der Flüssigphase zumindest bei der Abspeicherung 22 bis 32 Mol% Acetylen, 1 bis 4 Mol% eines C3-Kohlenwasserstoffs, 10 bis 20 Mol% Ethan und im Verbleibenden Ethylen, also ca. 67 bis 44 Mol% Ethylen enthält. <IMAGE>
