Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9201862A1] The tank-ventilating valve proposed has a housing (10) with inlet and outlet pipes (11, 12) between which an electromagnetically operated seat valve (31), biased in the valve-closure direction by a closure spring (49), is located. To ensure a simple valve design, the valve aperture is designed as a ring-gap nozzle (34) located in the magnet yoke (27) of the electromagnet (13), and the double valve seat (32) which acts together with the valve element (37) and surrounds the ring-gap nozzle (34), is located on the inlet-pipe (11) side of the magnet yoke (27). The hollow cylindrical core magnet (15) in the magnet housing (14) can be displaced by rotating a threaded adjustment element (19, 20) in the magnet housing (14), thus adjusting the stroke of the valve element (37). Resting against the core magnet (14) is a valve-closure spring (49) which biases the valve element (37), formed by the armature of the electromagnet (13), in the closure direction.
