Abstract (en)
The apparatus allows to achieve dependable controlling of weft inserting air pressure in a jet loom while improving i.e. reducing air consumption. The air injection pressure of the main weft inserting nozzle (4) is controlled by the computer control (C2) which then controls the pressure control valve (12) according to the arrival time detected by the weft sensor (9). The air injection pressure of the auxiliary weft inserting nozzles (5-8) is controlled by the computer control (C2) which then controls the pressure control valve (13) according to the difference between the above arrival time and the weft released time detected by the weft release detector (3). <IMAGE>
