[origin: WO9200781A1] In a racquet for ball games, especially a tennis racquet, with a grip (2) and a head with a striking surface, in which the head is arranged to rotate to a limited degree in relation to the grip (2) about the longitudinal axis (7) of the grip (2) and sprung anddamping components are fitted between the grip (2) and the head, sprung components (13) are arranged adjacently separately from damping components (14) in recesses (12) extending along the longitudinal axis (7) of the grip (2, 10) between the grip (2) and the shaft (5, 6) of the head in order to obtain effective springing and damping of the torsional and longitudinal vibrations of the racquet (1) in the grip region.

Une raquette pour jeux de balle, notamment une raquette de tennis, comprend un manche (2) et une partie de frappe pourvue d'une surface de frappe. La partie de frappe est montée rotative sur un angle limité par rapport au manche (2), autour de l'axe longitudinal (7) du manche (2). Des éléments élastiques et amortisseurs sont agencés entre le manche (2) et la partie de frappe. Les éléments élastiques (13) sont adjacents, agencés séparément des éléments amortisseurs (14) dans le sens de l'axe longitudinal (7), dans des évidements (12) qui s'étendent dans le sens de l'axe longitudinal (7) du manche (2, 10), entre le manche (2) et la tige (5, 6) de la partie de frappe, afin d'assurer une absorption et un amortissement efficaces des vibrations de torsion et des vibrations longitudinales de la raquette (1) dans la zone du manche.
