[origin: EP0494612A1] The invention relates to a roofing slab for sloping roofs, which consists of a slab (9) of concrete and acts as a support for roof coverings. Such slabs are normally very thick in order to meet the static requirements. To permit a type of construction distinguished by its light weight, the slab is provided with a reinforcement (14) comprising a lower boom (15) running inside the slab and a web (16) projecting upwards out of the slab, and having fastening elements (19) above the slab surface, to which fastening elements cross-beams (18) can be fastened as a supporting structure for the roof covering. <IMAGE>
