Dans un dispositif pour démêler des balles de fibres compactées en matière textile au moyen d'au moins un cylindre fraiseur (3, 4) agissant sur la surface (20) des balles de fibres et respectivement d'un cylindre presseur (18) disposé en amont et en aval du cylindre fraiseur (3, 4), parallèlement à celui-ci et dans son sens de mouvement, une hotte d'aspiration (21) située au-dessus du cylindre fraiseur (3, 4) aspirant dans un courant d'air les bourres enlevées, il est prévu qu'entre le cylindre presseur (18) et le cylindre fraiseur (3, 4) soit disposé sur toute la longueur de ce dernier un canal de guidage d'air (2) parallèle aux cylindres fraiseur et presseur (3, 4, 18) et formé de plusieurs tôles de guidagae d'air (22, 26).
