[origin: WO9105066A1] Hybridoma cell lines which produce monoclonal antibodies that specifically bind to antigenic recognition sites on segments of HIV-1 reverse transcriptase, the cell lines being selected from the group consisting of HB10243, HB10244, HB10245, HB10246, HB10247, HB10248. A method of preparing a monoclonal antibody which comprises culturing hybridoma selected from the group consisting of HB10243, HB10244, HB10245, HB10246, HB10247, HB10248 in a suitable culture medium and recovering antibody. A method of detecting segments of HIV-1 reverse transcriptase in a test sample. A diagnostic system for detecting the presence and amount of segments of HIV-1 reverse transcriptase in a test sample.

Des lignes de cellules d'hybridome qui produisent des anticorps monoclonaux se liant spécifiquement à des sites de reconnaissance antigéniques sur des segments de réverse-transcriptase de HIV-1 sont choisies parmi le groupe comportant HB10243, HB10244, HB10245, HB10246, HB10247, HB10248, HB10249. On décrit également un procédé pour la préparation d'un anticorps monoclonal qui consiste en la culture d'hybridomes sélectionnés parmi le groupe comportant HB10243, HB10244, HB10245, HB10246, HB10247, HB10248 dans un milieu de culture approprié et en la récupération dudit anticorps. Un procédé pour la détection de segments de réverse-transcriptase de HIV-1 dans un échantillon d'essai, ainsi qu'un système diagnostique pour la détection de la présence et de la quantité de segments de réverse-transcriptase de HIV-1 dans un tel échantillon, sont également décrits.
