The transport device has a plurality of adjacent independent transport tracks (2,4,6,8), and the transport tracks (2,4,6,8) are pivotably supported at the rear end of the reduction area (3), seen in the direction of transport. Un démêleur multiballes (1) comporte un dispositif de transport pour amener les balles de fibres compactées (14, 16) jusqu'à une surface horizontale de débourrage (3). Le dispositif de transport comprend une section (20) qui s'élève par rapport au plan de débourrage et un dispositif débourreur animé d'un mouvement alternatif dans le plan de débourrage. Le dispositif de transport comprend une pluralité de voies de transport adjacentes indépendantes. La vitesse de transport sur chaque voie de transport peut être réglée séparément. Les voies de transport peuvent être montées en pivot sur l'extrémité arrière de la surface de débourrage (3) vue dans le sens de transport, et la distance sur chaque voie de transport entre le plan de débourrage et l'extrémité avant de la surface de débourrage (3) vue dans le sens de transport se règle séparément.
