[origin: WO9203299A1] The description relates to a process for removing coatings from surfaces by means of high-pressure water jets, whereby one of the following features is used alone or in combination: the surface is treated with an aqueous solution containing an organic non-corrosive swelling agent; the organic non-corrosive swelling agent is allowed to work on the surface to be treated for a certain time depending on the nature of the surface; and/or the surface is treated with a water jet at a temperature of > 20 DEG C and a pressure of 100 to 600 bar.

On décrit un procédé permettant d'éliminer des couches de peinture sur des surfaces au moyen de jets d'eau à haute pression. Les opérations suivantes sont effectuées isolément ou en association: la surface est traitée avec une solution aqueuse contenant un agent gonflant organique non corrosif, l'agent gonflant organique non corrosif agit, selon la constitution de la surface, pendant une durée déterminée sur la surface à traiter et/ou la surface est traitée au moyen d'un jet d'eau sous une température supérieure à 20 °C et une pression de 100 à 600 bars.
