Abstract (en)

This relates to a method and installation for cleaning floating-roof tanks (1), remaining crude oil (31) first being sucked out and then being pumped into the residue with stirring up the residue (32). After the remaining crude oil has been used up in the course of liquefying the residue, fresh crude oil is pumped through cleaning pipe branches (4) - which may support the floating roof - to stir up and liquefy the remaining residue, until all the residue has been liquefied and pumped out of the floating-roof tank (1). In the course of the tank cleaning, the cleaning supports (4) replace the roof supports (2) otherwise present and are distinguished, on the one hand, by a slender construction which is stable in terms of strength, and, on the other hand, ensure the required stirring-up of crude oil and residue for the liquefaction of the latter. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Es handelt sich um ein Verfahren und eine Anlage zum Reinigen von Schwimmdachtanks (1), wonach zunächst restliches Rohöl (31) abgesaugt und anschließend unter Verwirbelung des Rückstands (32) in den Rückstand eingepumpt wird. Nach dem Verbrauch des restlichen Rohöls im Zuge der Rückstandsverflüssigung wird frisches Rohöl über Reinigungsstutzen (4) - welche das Schwimmdach tragen können - unter Verwirbelung und Verflüssigung des restlichen Rückstandes eingepumpt, bis der gesamte Rückstand verflüssigt und aus dem Schwimmdachtank (1) abgepumpt ist. Die Reinigungsstützen (4) ersetzen im Zuge der Tankreinigung die sonst vorhandenen Dachstützen (2) und zeichnen sich einerseits durch schlanke und in festigkeitsmäßiger Hinsicht stabile Bauweise aus, gewährleisten andererseits die erforderliche Verwirbelung von Rohöl und Rückstand zu dessen Verflüssigung. <IMAGE>
