Abstract (en)
For transmitting data provided by track devices (G1) to passing vehicles, line conductors (L) of limited extent are connected to the track devices. The track devices are cyclically activated by a control station (LST). During this process, the control station transmits, for example, call-up messages for forwarding to the associated line conductor to the respective track device via a data line (K1). If these messages are received and acknowledged by a vehicle, this is detected by the control station which, by connecting a control code (+U) to the data line, causes the track device to output the data provided by the track device. The transmission process is ended by a second acknowledgement message. If the control station sends a continuous signal outside the times needed for calling up the vehicles and possibly the reception of acknowledgements, the vehicles can carry out a self-locating process in this time via the line conductors over which they run. The special advantage of the device according to the invention is that track devices of very simple construction can be used. <IMAGE>

Für die Übermittlung von durch Gleisgeräte (G1) bereitgestellten Daten an vorüberlaufende Fahrzeuge sind an die Gleisgeräte Linienleiter (L) begrenzter Ausdehnung angeschlossen. Die Gleisgeräte werden zyklisch von einer Leitstelle (LST) angesteuert. Dabei übermittelt die Leitstelle dem jeweiligen Gleisgerät über eine Datenleitung (K1) z.B. Aufruftelegramme zur Weitergabe an den zugeordneten Linienleiter. Werden diese Telegramme von einem Fahrzeug empfangen und quittiert, so erkennt dies die Leitstelle und veranlaßt das Gleisgerät durch Aufschalten eines Steuerkennzeichens (+U) auf die Datenleitung zur Ausgabe der vom Gleisgerät bereitgestellten Daten. Eine zweite Quittungsmeldung beendet den Übertragungsvorgang. Wenn die Leitstelle außerhalb der für den Aufruf der Fahrzeuge und ggf. den Empfang der Quittungen benötigten Zeiten Dauersignal sendet, können die Fahrzeuge in dieser Zeit eine Eigenortung über den von ihnen befahrenen Linienleitern vornehmen. Der besondere Vorzug der erfindungsgemäßen Einrichtung ist der, daß sehr einfach aufgebaute Gleisgeräte verwendet werden können. <IMAGE>
