[origin: WO9105728A1] A thread brake has at least one brake element (B) which moves relative to a counter brake element (BG). In braking positions, the brake element acts on the threads, and it can be moved into a threading position in which the thread can travel unbraked through the thread brake. A brake element adjusting device is provided. The adjusting device has a drive (A) for obtaining the threading position of the thread brake (FK, FL, F'L). The thread brake has air-distributing surfaces (L) which, in the threading position, define an air-distributing channel for automatic pneumatic threading of the thread (Y) by means of an air current.

Un frein de fils comporte au moins un élément de freinage (B) qui se déplace par rapport à un élément de contre-freinage (BG). Dans des positions de freinage, l'élément de freinage agit sur les fils, et il peut se déplacer dans une position d'enfilement, dans laquelle le fil peut se déplacer à travers le frein de fils sans être freiné. Un dispositif de réglage de l'élément de freinage est prévu. Le dispositif de réglage comprend un entraînement (A) permettant d'obtenir la position d'enfilement du frein de fils (FK, FL, F'L). Le frein de fils possède des surfaces de guidage d'air (L) qui, dans la position d'enfilement, définissent un canal de guidage d'air permettant l'enfilement pneumatique automatique du fil (Y) au moyen d'un courant d'air.
