Abstract (en)
In a process for evaporating liquid, pressurised natural gas, a fluid is conducted in a circuit and is heated in heat exchange with the exhaust gas of a gas turbine. The fluid for its part heats, in a further heat exchange, the liquid natural gas up to the discharge temperature. Water is used as the fluid. An additional recovery of energy is possible by the integration of further expansion turbines.

Bei einem Verfahren zum Verdampfen von flüssigem, unter Druck stehendem Erdgas wird ein Fluid im Kreislauf geführt und im Wärmetausch mit dem Abgas einer Gasturbine erwärmt. Das Fluid seinerseits erwärmt in einem weiteren Wärmetausch das flüssige Erdgas bis auf Abgabetemperatur. Als Fluid wird Wasser eingesetzt. Durch die Integration weiterer Expansionsturbinen ist ein zusätzlicher Energiegewinn möglich.
