Abstract (en)
Disclosed are mercury-free, heat-developable photographic materials incorporating 1-hydroxy-benzotriazole hydrate and/or 1,2,3-benzotriazin-4(3H)one as anti-foggants. The image forming system of the photographic material also contains a light insensitive silver material; a light sensitive silver halide; a reducing agent for silver ion; and a binder. The dry silver construction exhibits excellent development latitude despite the fact that mercury has been excluded from the construction.
