[origin: EP0497134A1] Gate leaf (1), in particular made of lamellae with a foam-filled sheet-metal casing, which is provided with aerating openings (14) for air transfer between the space adjoining the outside of the gate leaf on the one hand and the space adjoining the inside of the gate leaf on the other hand in such a manner that, with a view to an unobtrusive and economically favourable manufacture, the aerating openings (14) are provided in a seal (3) which they pass through and which is fixed on the lower end wall (8) of the lower edge (2) of the gate leaf (1), preferably by means of a holding strip (4), in which a fixing formation (6) of the seal (3) engages, and in particular has a web section (10) which runs between the fixing formation (6) and a profiled section (12, 13) directed towards the bottom and into which the aerating openings (14) are punched. <IMAGE>
