The clamping means is intended for the clamping of workpieces and consists of an actuating cylinder (3) with mounted head piece (3') in which the clamping-lever mechanism coupled to the piston rod is arranged, operating-medium connections being arranged on the free end (1) of the actuating cylinder (3), of which one is allocated to the end of the actuating cylinder (3) in such a way that it can be repositioned in different directions. According to the invention, at least one line connection piece (4) is rotatably and/or pivotably arranged at the side on the end (1) or in a corner recess (2), adapted in shape, of the end (1) of the actuating cylinder (3). At least one flexible operating-medium line piece (5) located in the end (1) of the actuating cylinder (3) extends in this line connection piece (4) to a line coupling piece (6) arranged on the outside of the connection piece (4). <IMAGE>

Die Spannvorrichtung ist zum Festspannen von Werkstücken bestimmt und besteht aus einem Betätigungszylinder (3) mit aufgesetztem Kopfstück (3'), in dem die mit der Kolbenstange gekoppelte Spannhebelmechanik angeordnet ist, wobei Betriebsmittelanschlüsse am freien Ende (1) des Betätigungszylinders (3) angeordnet sind, von denen einer in unterschiedliche Richtungen umpositionierbar dem Ende des Betätigungszylinders (3) zugeordnet ist. Nach der Erfindung ist seitlich am Ende (1) oder in einer formangepaßten Eckausnehmung (2) des Endes (1) des Betätigungszylinders (3) dreh- und/oder schwenkbar mindestens ein Leitungsanschlußstück (4) angeordnet. In dieses Leitungsanschlußstück (4) erstreckt sich mindestens ein biegsames, im Ende (1) des Betätigungszylinders (3) befindliches Betriebsmittelleitungsstück (5) zu einem außen am Anschlußstück (4) angeordneten Leitungsankupplungsstück (6). <IMAGE>
