Abstract (en)

In internal-combustion engines with a low sound level, having a rigid conductor frame produced as a casting, the conductor frame (1) is screwed into the oil sump (2) from the flange side. Die-casting technology can consequently be used both on the oil sump and on the conductor frame. Furthermore, the additional parting plane (1') in the oil sump ensures an increase in the overall oil-sump damping. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Bei geräuscharmen Brennkraftmaschinen mit einem steifen als Gußteil hergestellten Leiterrahmen, ist der Leiterrahmen (1) in die Ölwanne (2) von der Flanschseite her eingeschraubt. Damit ist eine Druckgußtechnologie sowohl auf die Ölwanne als auch auf den Leiterrahmen anwendbar. Weiters erreicht man durch die zusätzliche Trennfuge (1') in der Ölwanne eine Erhöhung der gesamten Ölwannendämpfung. <IMAGE>
