[origin: WO9204064A1] A single use syringe having a cylindrical wall (12) extending to a needle mounting (11). The wall (12) has an internal cylindrical surface (13) which cooperates with a slidable piston to enclose at least part of a variable volume chamber (12). A valve assembly (15) is located in the chamber (14) and prevents reuse of the syringe. The valve includes a value seat (22) which cooperates with a moveable valve member (26), which may be of spherical configuration. The valve member (26) is moveable from the upstream side of the valve seat (22), to the downstream side thereof to prevent reuse of the syringe. The piston (plunger head) (269) is captively located within the cylindrical body (261) to prevent its withdrawal and thereby prevent reuse of the syringe by filling the syringe through the rear opening of the cylindrical body (261). The syringe may also be provided with a porous disk (174) which permits a medication in the form of a powder to be located within the syringe and subsequently injected upon being mixed and dissolved in an only withdrawn in the syringe.

Seringue à usage unique, constituée d'une paroi cylindrique (12) s'étendant jusqu'à un manchon d'aiguille (11). La paroi (12) a une surface cylindrique interne (13) qui coopère avec un piston coulissant afin de former au moins une partie d'une chambre (12) à volume variable. Un ensemble clapet (15) vient se loger dans la chambre (14) et il empêche la réutilisation de la seringue. Le clapet comprend un siège (22) de clapet qui coopère avec un élément (26) de clapet mobile, qui peut être de forme sphérique. L'élément (26) de clapet peut se déplacer depuis le côté situé en amont du siège (22) de clapet, jusqu'au côté situé en aval de ce clapet, pour éviter la réutilisation de la seringue. Le piston (269) (tête de piston) est retenu à demeure dans le corps cylindrique (261) afin d'éviter son retrait et par conséquent la réutilisation de la seringue en remplissant la seringue par l'ouverture arrière du corps cylindrique (261). La seringue peut également comprendre un disque poreux (174) qui permet de loger un médicament pulvérulent dans ladite seringue et de l'injecter ensuite, après mélange et dissolution dudit médicament dans la seringue d'où il ne pourra sortir que lors d'une injection.
