[origin: EP0498318A2] In a device for adjusting a filling height for use in a filling machine, a sealing element which is axially displaceable for adjusting a filling height is provided in each case on the filling pipe of at least two filling elements. For the adjustment, each sealing element is assigned an adjusting device. All of the adjusting devices can be actuated by a common drive element via transmission means. The adjusting devices each possess a spindle-like first adjusting element and a spindle nut-like second adjusting element cooperating with the latter. To obtain a simple construction and also to simplify assembly and/or the replacement of defective parts, the first adjusting element is an adjusting sleeve which is displaceably guided on a guide bar.
