[origin: JPH05116491A] PURPOSE: To obtain an easy-to-manufacture, low-cost document holder by forming front and rear sheets by bending web material, using inserts which retain the front and rear sheets, and inserting pins in the open front face of the web material. CONSTITUTION: A front sheet 1 and rear sheet 3 are formed by bending the web material. The sheets 1, 3 are made by punching the web material which has multiple lateral direction webs 7, and the pin 11 of the insert 15 is inserted in the gap 8 between the webs 7 to retain the sheet 1 and/or the sheet 3. A rubber strip 17 is fixed at the part 15 of the sheet 3 and run through the hole 16 of the sheet 1, and connected to the other side so that it may be secured to the part 15 of the sheet 3. Thus an easy-to-manufacture, low-cost document holder is made.
