[origin: EP0499563A1] The invention relates to an ingot mould (10) for continuous casting of metallic products, for example billets, blooms or slabs, comprising lubricant flow orifices (22) made in its inner face (14) forming a mould. These orifices (22) are uniformly spaced with respect to each other, along the perimeter of this inner face, and open out in concave recesses (24) made in this inner face and whose surface area is substantially greater than the cross-section of the said orifices. Preferably, vertical grooves (26) extend between each concave recess (24) and the lower end (20) of the ingot mould (10) in order to ensure the discharge of the excess lubricant and of the gases caused by the cracking of the lubricant. <IMAGE>
