[origin: EP0499601A1] Cylinder head for internal combustion engines with overhead valves and bearings for the two overhead camshafts, two cast first oil ducts extending parallel to the camshafts and extending in a continuous manner below the latter being provided for lubricating the valve tappets and the bearings of the camshafts. Likewise cast second oil ducts (16) are cast together with the first cast oil ducts (12) and lead to the sliding surfaces of the valve tappets (6). Also provided are bores (18) which extend parallel to the bearing cap bolts (11) and connect the cast second oil ducts (16) to the bearings (8, 9) of the camshafts (4, 5). <IMAGE>
