Bei einem Gehäuse zur Aufnahme eines Gebläses unter Bildung eines Strömungskanals, insbesondere kastenförmiges Gehäuse mit einem Zuluft- (21) und einem Abluftstutzen (22) flachen Querschnitts, die zueinander fluchtend angeordnet und an ein Rohrsystem bildende Zuluft- (14) bzw. Abluftkanäle (18) anschließbar sind, wobei eine Außenwand des kastenförmigen Gehäuses mit den im Querschnitt eine große Kantenlänge aufweisenden Außenwände der Zu- und Abluftkanäle eine im wesentlichen ebene Fläche bildet, ist das Gehäuse (20) im wesentlichen auf die der ebenen Fläche (24) gegenüberliegenden Seite kastenförmig erweitert. <IMAGE>
