[origin: US5199475A] A device for shaping an optionally pressing curved components, such as curved beams of glued laminated girders, is provided which, in a modular type of construction, comprises at least two clamping devices on a base, which are movable. Each clamping device has, as a foundation, a slide that is movable along guides which, for example, are movable with rollers along a pair of rails as guides. In the central part of the slide, a rotary table is rotatable around an axis perpendicular to the slide, on which at least two adjustable clamping elements, symmetrical to the axis of rotation, are provided. To adjust these clamping elements, which can be formed by tighteners, an adjusting device is placed centered on the slide. With this adjusting device, the tighteners are moved toward, and away from, each other symmetrically relative to the axis of rotation in their opposite arrangement. A manual control or a computer-aided control can be used to control the device.

Es wird eine Vorrichtung (1) zum Formen und gegebenenfalls Pressen von gekrümmten Bauteilen, wie gekrümmten Balken (14) aus Brettschichtträgern, bereitgestellt, welche in modularer Bauweise wenigstens zwei Spanneinrichtungen (4) in einem Grundgestell (2) umfaßt, welche beweglich sind. Jede Spanneinrichtung (4) hat als Grundkörper einen längs Führungen (3) verfahrbaren Schlitten (6), der beispielsweise mit Rollen (7) längs eines Schienenpaars als Führungen verfahrbar ist. Im Mittelteil des Schlittens (6) ist ein Drehtisch (9) um eine Achse senkrecht zum Schlitten (6) drehbar, an dem wenigstens zwei symmetrisch zur Drehachse (8) verstellbare Spannelemente (10) vorgesehen sind. Zur Verstellung dieser Spannelemente, (10) welche von Spannrollen (12) gebildet werden können, ist eine Verstelleinrichtung (11) zentrisch am Schlitten (6) angeordnet. Mit Hilfe dieser Verstelleinrichtung (11) werden die Spannrollen (12) symmetrisch bezüglich der Drehachse (8) in ihrer gegenüberliegenden Anordnung aufeinander zu und voneinander weg bewegt. Zur Steuerung der Vorrichtung (1) kann eine Handsteuerung oder eine rechnergestützte Steuerung eingesetzt werden. <IMAGE>
