Wave guide intended to be mounted on the wall 1 of a cooking enclosure between the antenna 2 of a magnetron 3 and an opening 5 made in the said wall 1, and including a metal box of generally tubular shape formed by a cover 7 comprising an elongate upper wall 8, an anterior region of which extends above the wall 1 and a posterior region of which extends above the magnetron 3, two lateral walls 9 and 10, two transverse walls, anterior 11 and posterior 12 and by a base 13 comprising a bottom wall 14 through which passes a passage hole 16 for the antenna 2, open opposite the opening 5. According to the invention, the cover 7 is formed in a single piece obtained by stamping and trimming a metal sheet. The invention applies to microwave ovens for domestic use. <IMAGE>

Guide d'ondes destiné à être monté sur la paroi 1 d'une cavité de cuisson entre l'antenne 2 d'un magnétron 3 et une ouverture 5 pratiquée dans ladite paroi 1, et comportant un boîtier métallique de forme générale tubulaire formé d'un chapeau 7 comprenant une paroi supérieure allongée 8 dont une région antérieure s'étend au-dessus de la paroi 1 et dont une région postérieure s'étend au-dessus du magnétron 3, deux parois latérales 9 et 10, deux parois transversales antérieure 11 et postérieure 12, et d'une embase 13 comprenant une paroi de fond 14 traversée par un trou de passage 16 pour l'antenne 2 et ouverte en regard de l'ouverture 5. Selon l'invention, le chapeau 7 est formé en une seule pièce obtenue par emboutissage et détourage d'une feuille métallique. L'invention s'applique aux fours à micro-ondes à usage ménager. <IMAGE>
