The invention relates to a picture frame made of frame-forming strips which each consist of a profiled support bar and a decorative strip fitted thereon. According to the invention, the decorative strips belong to a set of construction elements with decorative strips of different cross-sections, to which the same profiled support bars are assigned. The profiled support bars have a flat contact surface for the associated decorative strip and are of wider design than the decorative strips. The frame-forming strips are joined to one another in the vicinity of the frame corners by corner-connecting components, the corner-connecting components being attached only to the profiled support bars. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Bilderrahmen aus rahmenbildenden Leisten (1,2), die jeweils aus einem Trägerprofilstab (1) und einer aufgesetzten Dekorleiste (2) bestehen. Erfindungsgemäß gehören die Dekorleisten (2) einem Bauelementensatz mit Dekorleisten (2) unterschiedlichen Leistenquerschnitts an, denen die gleichen Trägerprofilstäbe (1) zugeordnet sind. Die Trägerprofilstäbe (1) weisen eine ebene Anlagefläche für die zugeordnete Dekorleiste (2) auf und sind breiter ausgeführt als die Dekorleisten (2). Die rahmenbildenden Leisten (1,2) sind im Bereich der Rahmenecken durch Eckverbindungsbauteile (3) miteinander verbunden, wobei die Eckverbindungsbauteile (3) lediglich an die Trägerprofilstäbe (1) angeschlossen sind. <IMAGE>
