[origin: EP0500433A1] The method for attaching the end (2) of a yarn of a bobbin (1) comprises the following steps: a) the bobbin (1) is placed on two spaced-apart supports (4,5), b) a depression is made between these two supports (4,5) sufficient for sucking the non-secured end (2) of the yarn into the space (7) lying between the two supports (4,5), c) the bobbin is rotated in order to wind the non-secured end (2) of the yarn onto the bobbin and d) the said end (2) of the yarn is secured to the bobbin (1) using a suitable means.
