[origin: EP0500458A1] A hollow blade for a turbomachine, such as a rotor blade for a large-chord fan, is fabricated according to the method which includes the following steps: - fabricating primary parts comprising two external metal sheets (1) and at least one central metal sheet (7), - bending/twisting the said parts (1, 7), - installing diffusion barriers on the central metal sheet (7), - assembling and installing on the tool (14), -diffusion welding and then inflation under gas pressure and superplastic forming of the selected zones, -finishing. <IMAGE>
