[origin: WO9205039A1] An integral type wheel made of light metal having a grain flow metallographic structure containing grain flows, at least some of which continue from the peripheral position of the wheel disk part to the outermost part of the outer rim, extending zigzag with respect to the profile of the outer rim having a plurality of bent parts, and converging at the outermost periphery of the outer rim. The wheel has densely running grain flows excellent in plasticity and workability, and is high in strength. An integral type wheel made of light metal having a grain flow metallographic structure as above is manufactured by means of a hot forging device comprising an upper die (6) equipped with an electric heater (7) and provided with a flash (12) and gutter (13), and a lower die (4).
